Does Doran deal 10 damage if I Berserk him? Thanks ahead of time.

It doubles his power. How much is 2 * 0? If you say it's 10, I'll gladly exchange my 2 * 0 dollar for your 10 dollars any time.

I thought he might since he assigns toughness as his power. I guess not then.

He does not assign toughness as his power, he does combat damage equal to his toughness instead of equal to his power.

I got a real stumper. How much damage does Doran deal if you cast an Invigorate and then Berserk him?

5 [base] + 4 [invigorate] + 0 [berserk] = 9

His power is completly irrelevant for combat damage. So invigorate would give him 4 to toughness, beserk would give him 4 extra power, but that is ignored. So he does 9 damage because he has 9 toughness.

Ah, just like a 4/5 Goyf deals 5 damage. Thanks for the clarification.

This does, incidentally, make Berserk the sweet tech against Doran. You don't take any more damage, but Doran still dies!

In fact, you could do this to any creature on the table when Doran is out, even if you have Doran. BGW Doran Stompy where Berserk doubles as techy removal? Probably not. But it is pretty neat.

It still gains trample though.
