Mishras factory

here is the deal:

I play a factory pass the turn. They attack with a 2/3 kirdape. Can I block the kurdape then tap the factory to make it a 3/3? or do i have to wait a turn before I can tap it.

The reason I ask is because it seems to me that the ability would be part of the land and not part of the creature. Anyways, thanks in advance.

No, you can't tap a creature without haste until you've controlled it since the beginning of your upkeep. When Mishra's Factory is a creature, the rule applies.

There's no distinction between if the ability is part of the creature mishra's factory or the lands... Its the card's ability, and when you're using the ability, the card is a creature, and it hasnt been around since a beggining of your turn, so you cant use its tap abilities.
