DampingEngine (Doug McKay) finished 2nd in the Rochester NY, Berlin PTQ. I watched his final match and if not for a small play mistake in the 3rd game, he might have been heading to Berlin. Doug played Optimus Prime, basically a mono green deck that got really big dudes out early.

Munkie (Alex Artese) also gets name dropped and also top 8'ed this event, he lost to Doug in the first round of the top 8. He played Tokens and played so great games, he really pulled some games out that I didn't think he would. Congrats to both of you!

What format was he playing? If you say Standard, you disappoint me. Gratz to Doug Mckay nevertheless.

Legacy players doing well in other events makes the format look better. Good job!
