I have a City of Traitors in play, then drop a Dimir Aqueduct. Can I save my City?

Nope, City's oracle text says "When you play another land, sacrifice City of Traitors." It means when you choose to play Dimir Aqueduct, City of Traitor is destroyed in the same time.
When Dimir comes to play and its effect stack in, City isn't in play anymore.

Yes. Lands do not use the stack, so both City and Dimir Aqueduct's abilities trigger as you play the Aqueduct, and go on the stack together.

Moonsteak is wrong, Nihil is right. Just wanted to make it clearer, since Nihil makes no reference to Moonsteak's post.

The fact that lands don't use the stack makes it come into play before anyone would get priority, which is when stuff is put on the stack.
