What if Ancestral Vision gets flashback? Am I able to play it or does it get no cc so I wont be able to play it?

"Adding" a flashback ability to it wouldn't change its cost. Its cost would still be {}, you still couldn't pay it, thus still couldn't play the card.

edit : my bad. I thought we were talking about buyback.

Although yeah, if the flashback cost is also {}, then you also can't pay it.

You cannot play a spell without a mana cost unless an effect allows you to play it without paying its casting cost or for an alternate casting cost. If you're thinking of Recoup, then that does not work. It gives Ancestral Vision flashback with a non-existent mana cost, and therefore it cannot be played. If there were an effect that gives it a flashback cost that is equal to a specific number, then theoretically, it could be played.

In other words: the casting cost of Ancestral Visions is null (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Null_(mathematics)), which is completely different than 0.

Yes. The converted mana cost is 0, but the casting cost itself is {}.

If you were able to give it Flashback with some cost other than {} though, you could play it. If there were something that said, "Target instant in your graveyard with CMC 2 or less gains Flashback 1U until end of turn" you could then play Ancestral Vision.

Oh, didn't I mention that you have an Enchantment that reads, "All Sorceries are Instants in addition to their other types."?
