I decided to run another giant vintage tourney before the end of the year. There ended up being a large amount of out of state players that came out to play in June, and that was incredible. Prize support will be nearly identical to my last event, but entry fee has been adjusted primarily because I had to go out and buy the prize support this time, instead of giving away my collection.
WHEN: saturday november 15th, and sunday november 16th
Registration begins both days at 9:30 am tournament starts both days at 11:00 am
WHERE:
Enfield Moose Lodge

It will be a $30 entry fee day 1. $25 entry fee day 2
15 proxy allowed ELD made proxies do not count toward the number.
Both days will be run under the UTOG.
There will be a vendor on site. The one and only Samite Healer Jeff Anand will be in attendance dealing you all the cardboard you need.
DAY 1
It will be a cut to top 8. I got some negative reaction from doing a cut to top 16 the last time, and I tend to agree that having some bad luck in the "bonus round" when you were first seed going into the top 16 could be a little unfair.
The prize structure proposed for the top 8 is the following and would be guaranteed for 80 players. At 110 players 1st place becomes 4x mishra's workshop.
At attendance of 100 players, prize payout goes out to 9th-16th.
Cash splits will be offered at the beginning of the top 8, top 4, and the finals.
1st: unlimited black lotus ****4X mishra's workshop if we get 110 people*****
2nd unlimited ancestral recall
3rd unlimited mox ruby
4th unlimited mox emerald
5th-8th 150 dealer credit each
DAY 2
The prize structure proposed for the top 8 is the following and would be guaranteed with 50 players. Cash splits will be offered at the beginning of the top 8, top 4, and the finals.
1st: Mox Sapphire
2nd: Mox Pearl
3rd: 150 dealer credit
4th: 100 dealer credit
5th-8th:50 dealer credit each
Side events will be going all weekend from vintage to draft and legacy.
Also, something new I will be introducing with this tournament is 1st round byes. Each player that finishes first in a tournament(that gets reported on TMD) with attendence greater then 20 players is going to get a free round 1 bye in this tournament. I'm going to assume that international players are not attending so this will only apply to tournaments in the U.S. The start date I will count tournaments that will go toward the byes is 8-30-08 up until the week of my tournament. I will continue to update the list on this post.
