I start my adventure with magic about 7 years ago.... but mostly I was playing in extended format. I'm new to legacy so I thought it would be nice to convert one of my favorite deck to this format... This is how I came to this deck. It's a lil mix of red deck wins with splash of green and Painter's Servant engine.

This is the list:

Creatures:

4x Keldon Marauders
4x Kird Ape
4x Painter's Servant
4x Tarmogoyf
3x Tin Street Hooligan

Spells:

4x Molten Rain
4x Pyroblast
4x Red Elemental Blast
4x Lightning Bolt

Enchantments:

3x Seal of Fire

Artifacts:

2x Grindstone

Lands:

3x Bloodstained Mire
3x Forest
6x Mountain
4x Stomping Ground
4x Wooded Foothills

Sideboard:

Depends on meta, but cards like:

Krosan Grip and Magus has it own place here :)

In future I'll post a MU analisyss.

Any Suggestions are welcome.

Hi and welcome to the source.

You should post an explanation about your deck, strategy, testing results, and at the very least choice of cards to be in it.

For reference there are 2 quite powerful Mono Red archetypes already, imperial painter, and dragon stompy and they both use magus of the moon.

Good luck.

Seconded.

Imperial Painter is the deck you want to be looking at bro. Imperial Recruiter ups the consistency of the deck by an insane amount. For other versions (see EPIC Painter for more examples) that splash U or decided to ditch R all together, Trinket Mage is used with various other control spells.
