I need a stickler on the rules to let me know if this is a legal way to dredge. I don't think it is after much debate with friends but i just wanted to make sure.


Ok, you pull of a cephalid colliseum, breakthrough or any other draw. Cast it. Here's the catch, at the moment you only have one dredger in your graveyard. So for example, on the first draw from my cephalid colliseum i choose to dredge the troll for six.....

Now on that first dredge I haven't revealed any other dredgers. Can I discard the troll i just dredged via a putrid imp or by cracking my LED mid-way through the first draw from cephalid, breakthrough or whatever and dredge him again on the second draw?

No. Currently a spell or an ability is resolving (that which gives you the draws) and no player gets priority to play spells or abilities here and therefore, you can't play some other spell or ability in mid-resolving.
