I've been toying around with this deck for awhile and it needs improvement. I tinkered with it some more today and I haven't tested this list yet. It runs Crackleburr and Gelectrode for early aggro/control and then runs Niv-Mizzet + Curiosity for the win. It abuses Parallel Thoughts and Diminishing Returns as a perfect hand draw engine.

//Lands:20
4 Volcanic Island
3 Mountain
5 Island
4 Steamvents
2 Polluted Delta
2 Bloodstained Mire

//Creatures:11
4 Crackleburr
4 Gelectrode
3 Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind

//Other Spells: 29
4 Diminishing Returns
4 Parallel Thoughts
4 Curiosity
4 Brainstorm
3 Daze
4 FoW
4 Rite of Flame
2 Prophetic Bolt

//Sideboard
4 Shattering Spree
4 Ponder
2 Prophetic Bolt
1 Strategic Planning
4 Lightning Bolt.

The perfect Parallel Thoughts/Diminishing Returns Hand would be:
2 Curiosity
2 Niv-Mizzet the Firemind
2 FoW
1 Rite of Flame
This insures that you get the whole combo out on the next turn.

I feel most of the other card choices are self explanatory. For the sideboard it's more of a Gelectrode/Crackleburr focused and you'd side the combo elements out (Niv-Mizzet, Diminishing Returns, and Parallel Thoughts) for more instants and sorceries that deal damage and dig through your deck.

good idea, it's a instant win combo of 2 cards that is good anyway.

Curiosity on a Gelectrode = OMG

Honestly I would cut Cruckleburr, it's very nice but very depending on other cards... I'd rather add 4x Counterspell, to shell the combo and add some instant untapper for Gelectrode(s)

I would also cut Parallel Thoughts, just play Fact or Fiction. It will be enough in 4x.
Cascade Bluff would definitly help the mana fix

consider this

Lands 22
4 Cascade Bluff
4 Volcanic Island
4 Flooded Strand
2 Bloodstained Mire
5 Island
3 Mountain

4 Spell Snare//Counterspell
4 Daze//Mana Leak
4 Force of Will

4 Lightning Bolt
4 Fire-Ice

4 Curiosity
3 Niv Mizzet
4 Gelectrode

4 Brainstorm
3 Impulse

or something like this anyway

I look at this deck and I see "casual". I am not a mod, nor do I really want/intend to speak on behalf of one, but you need to list matchups and explanations for some cards, dude.

The deck is neat and looks like fun, but I don't see it coming out on top with any popular decks and further more I see it vanishing to other pages because a lot of the people that read this section want to read and help develop new potential decks to beat. I am not trying to rip on you or anything because the deck looks quite creative and fun, but I think you need to take what you will be playing against into consideration and reflect that in your post.

An example is that there is a red and blue trinket mage/dreadnaught deck out there; why would your deck better than it etc. You know, that kind of thing. Legacy has decks that fill numerous little niches. What niche does your deck fill. What decks does it destroy or get destroyed by?
