Sorry about the delay. I had some good excuses for a couple weeks there, with the Source tourny and then mini-vacation with the SO, but mainly I've just been lazy the past week.

Anyways;

I'm gonna have to pose this question again: My other computer broke down and needs a charger. Therefore, I can't get my deck file from it until my charger comes in the mail, which will definitely take longer than this round. I can try rebuilding it, but I don't remember the exact list. On the other hand, I had a bye last round, so its not even like I played with it yet.

What should I do? If I have to drop, thats fine, but it would be a real shame, cuz I think I found a really good deck for the format and would hate to miss out.

Try to recreate the deck as it was. We'll go with the honor code here since most people haven't posted a decklist anyway. This is more of a preliminary exercise in a new format than anything, really.

So, first I apologize for not posting earlier. I got a little discouraged with this tournament because we kind of lost half our enrollment each round. I should've probably said what my plans were, but I honestly didn't have them because we're very nearly down to the top 8 by default already.

I'm going to go ahead and continue this for whoever's still interested, because I think the format will probably become relevant later on down the road. It has the largest, most flexible and dynamic card pool of any format I've ever seen. I can't post next round pairings until I get access to my computer this evening, though.

Alternately, if people want, we could start from scratch, where I could provide some actual kind of prize and try to recruit some players that will actually, y'know, play.

I would definitely play a new tourney. I have lots of things I wanna experiment with. Continuing this would be fine too, but as you said, we're almost completely out of people.

I'm wondering if something League-style mightn't be better for this. A tournament is better at determining who the winner is, but a League might be better if people just want to play Magic (and possibly also for pure amount of data generated, if we're primarily interested in finding out what decks are good).

I'm ok with either one, I assume if there is a new tournament, we will be allowed to change our current decklists? I've realized my decks biggest flaw...
