First let me introduce myself as this is my first post. I’ve been playing magic for a little over a year but I didn’t learn the normal way of playing with friends and having junk decks. I was dumped into limited and constructed without really knowing how to play. With this situation I believe that anyone progresses extremely fast and develops skills faster than normal. I earned a spot on my friends legacy team (team lucksack) and I've been playing constantly ever since. I spend about 2+ hours a day testing.
So my teammate media314r8 and I have had a few discussions about a control deck that would abuse demigod of revenge and how to get the most out of him. We discussed a u/b control deck that would dump him in the yard then play another one. We finally realized that buried alive/ reanimate spell was just too clunky so we came to the conclusion that intuition was the nuts for this deck. Keep in mind im new and still working on this deck. there is still much testing needed for the deck to be finalized and the sideboard is still in development. So without further delay ill present you with sad panda.

I don't know if you have looked at this following Intuition Demigod Deck (http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11440), but it seems similar. Does the lack of black weaken or strengthen the deck?
It seems like you may have issues reliably getting Urborg to make your lands into swamps to cast Demigod. Sure, you just need one Urborg (and 4 other lands) to cast the Demigod, but you HAVE to get one of the 3 Urborgs.

the deck never has any problem with finding one with brainstorm/top and fetches and such. as i have tested it you can hold one in your hand the whole game and wait until its needed or intuition one up

My first thought is that Morphling is bad. Trinket Mage is less than stellar without the ability to fetch Dreadnought, and I think it should be dropped from the build along with the one MD Needle. Wipe away seems random for the maindeck. Explosives seems like it would be stronger as Damnation or something. You could easily splash green for Deed, but I'm assuming you want to keep it U/B.
-3 Trinket Mage
-2 Morphling
-2 Wipe away
-1 Pithing Needle
-2 Engineered Explosives
Those are all the cards I could see dropping. As for replacements... I would play more draw. Fact or Fiction is really good. Ponder is really good at keeping those lands coming. You probably need another Top after the loss of Trinket to see one alongside Counterbalance. Rainbow Efreet is a better creature than Morphling imo, and Tombstalker comes to mind for a finisher. Maybe something like...
+3 Tombstalker
+3 Ponder
+3 Damnation
+1 Sensei's Divining top
Perhaps cutting Trinket Mage isn't the best idea, but you should play Executioner's Capsule if you do play him. Damnation is somewhat clunky against certain decks, and could be better at Diabolic Edict. The fact that you're running Counter-Top makes it hard to find room for more removal tho. I would play Rainbow Efreet as a 1of and cut something, although I'm not sure what. Back to Basics also seems strong here.

I don't know if you are implying that you are fetching Urborg with your Polluted Deltas, but if you are then here's a quote from SCGs rules section:
Q: I have a question about Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth (http://sales.starcitygames.com/cardsearch.php?singlesearch=Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth). If each land is a Swamp (http://sales.starcitygames.com/cardsearch.php?singlesearch=Swamp) in addition to its other land types, does this mean you can Polluted Delta (http://sales.starcitygames.com/cardsearch.php?singlesearch=Polluted Delta) for your Stripmine (http://sales.starcitygames.com/cardsearch.php?singlesearch=Stripmine), Wasteland (http://sales.starcitygames.com/cardsearch.php?singlesearch=Wasteland), or Tolarian Academy (http://sales.starcitygames.com/cardsearch.php?singlesearch=Tolarian Academy).?
A: No, that does not work. Urborg (http://sales.starcitygames.com/cardsearch.php?singlesearch=Urborg) only gives lands in play the additional subtype of Swamp (http://sales.starcitygames.com/cardsearch.php?singlesearch=Swamp). Land cards in any other zone are unaffected.
If you didn't mean that, then sorry for wasting a post.

I think he meant Senseis Top/Brainstorm + the shuffle effect in fetchlands.

How does Counterbalance play with just 8 2cc spells in the deck and one of them guaranteed to be on the board? I've tried Counterbalance with a low 2cc spell count and had mixed results.
Why 4 Underground Sea? Getting 80% of Demigod Mana?

the original list ran damnations but was cut for wipe away but i have thought about replacing wipe away with something more useful

You're not gonna comment on anything else? Why are you playing Trinket Mage? Why play Morphling? Shouldn't you be playing Removal of some sort? I like Damnation in this build, Why did you cut it in the first place? Would you consider playing Disk?

Me too. We also used it for the original GeddonStax list. Im still mad at Machinus, because otherwise it would have been part of the Legacy vernacular for a while now.

I suppose USea is there so EE can be set at two? Or to draw wastes so that when you play urborg, it sticks? What happened to the list we discussed?
// Lands
1 [FUT] Tolaria West
2 [PLC] Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
1 [TSP] Academy Ruins
4 [R] Underground Sea
4 [ON] Polluted Delta
2 [ON] Flooded Strand
5 [P3] Island (1)
2 [PT] Swamp (3)
1 [MR] Vault of Whispers
// Creatures
4 [FD] Trinket Mage
4 [SHM] Demigod of Revenge
// Spells
3 [DIS] Spell Snare
3 [7E] Counterspell
4 [CST] Brainstorm
3 [OD] Predict
4 [TE] Intuition
1 [FD] Engineered Explosives
4 [AL] Force of Will
3 [FD] Vedalken Shackles
3 [CHK] Sensei's Divining Top
1 [ALA] Sigil of Distinction
1 [ALA] Executioner's Capsule
// Sideboard
SB: 2 [FD] Engineered Explosives
SB: 3 [AL] Helm of Obedience
SB: 4 [GP] Leyline of the Void
SB: 2 [10E] Pithing Needle
SB: 4 [7E] Engineered Plague
In this list, mage fetches a fifth black source, (which the deck should run more than 4 of, otherwise just run 3 back to basics and play MUC.) EE, capsule, or Sigil, which in a control deck can turn him into a wincon. I also think predict or a looting effect belongs in this deck, as a way, with brainstorm/predict/top to get excess demigods in the bin if you lack intuition.
Morphling is completely out of place here, hell I'd rather run call the skybreaker as an alternate wincon, as with just one copy of him, you can intuition for him, land, land, and you're playing dragons starting next turn. (though TS is probably a better candidate if you don't want to run shackles) The deck is really torn between wanting islands and swamps to support both shackles, counterspell/counterbalance, and a BBBBB wincon. 3 urborgs are needed, but IMO #3 is better as tolaria west, as it can still be used as a shuffle, and can find urborg or ruins while not being a pain in your ass because of the legend rule. Wipe away seems like a SB card, but I don't think the deck should have to worry about grave hate, as demigod still works through it, just not as broken, and shackles is allways a beating in a control deck. Daze seems awful for the same list of reasons it's terrible in MUC- especially in this deck which needs to hit BBBBB before it even has a clock. (outside relying on shackles or mage)

yeah, i told you I'd chose directions, something akin to that list, or a more combo-list with dark rits and tombstalkers.
