something about flashback and madness

if im going to flashback a card like "call of the herd" and my opponent has a "chalice of the void" out for 3, is the "call of the herd" going to be countered?

if i'm going to use the madness cost of an arrogant wurm which is 3cc, will it be countered by a chalice on 3 or is it still considered as a 5cc card eventhough i used madness?

Yes.

It is still CC5 and won't be countered by Chalice @3.


The reason for both answers is that Chalice always asks for the converted mana costs. And they are always the same, no matter which kind of alternative costs you use to pay for the spell.
