Are there any part(s) of manabond that can be stifled?

Ach my title is wrong and I can't change it!

All of it:

At the end of your turn, you may reveal your hand and put all land cards from it into play. If you do, discard your hand

"At" is totally a triggered ability. Which can be Stifled.

edit - Of course, if you're looking to dodge the "If you do" part with a Stifle, that's a no go, because you can't play a Stifle during the resolution of Manabond's ability.

Actually I am trying to use someone's manabond against them...stifling the puts into play part but allowing them to still discard their hand. It sounds like it is an all or nothing type deal. You know, some guy on MWS laughed at me when I asked him and he thought I was crazy. But there in lies MWS.

He was right though, you stifle the entire ability, not one part of it. It would be possible if the abilities were two seperate ones, but they're not.

Ah, Thanks for the clarification after the initial reply that is what I thought. He wanted to tell me that I couldn't stifle anything...I think

Anyway, life is good and we move on.

For future elucidation:

There would have to be two trigger words ("when", "whenever", or "at").

It would have to read something like this:

At the end of your turn, you may reveal your hand and put all land cards from it into play. When you reveal your hand in this way, discard your hand.

See something like Samitie Minisrations, which sets up future triggered abilities (even though it itself isn't triggered, it easily could be):

Prevent all damage that would be dealt to you this turn by a source of your choice. Whenever damage from a black or red source is prevented this way, you gain life equal to that damage.

Note that for that wording of Manabond the second part still wouldn't even trigger unless the first part resolved, since the second is part of the first. In fact, I can't think of any wording (without getting absurdly far out) that would let you Stifle the "put into play" and still make them discard, since using the "put into play" option is what forces the discard.

And to burst your bubble even further, they just don't ever put triggers into triggers like our theoretical Manabond wording.

@cdr: Thank you very much, however much you burst my bubble.

I will now give up my dream of stifling everything in magic :P
