That's only 9.
You have one last chance to remain in the Jack Elgin Fanclub.
On a side note, who else thinks Bryant started this thread just to see people list him?

The Source has done it the last two years at this time. No one has done it yet, so I did?
Also, I like my E-Pen. ;p

"Then said David Gearheart, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do ..."
David Gearheat needs no team.

Me.

Sometimes Bryant still IMs me for advice on his love life. "No man that's a common misconception. Using two increases the friction between them and you're more likely to break both." What a character!

This whole thing would make more sense to me if both Europe and America formed their own Allstar Teams (8-10 players) and had them battle it out MWS style.
...
At second thought... that idea is BRILLIANT!
Now it's up to you guys to make it happen!!

I doubt we have enough players from Asia or S. America to make it a 4-team, do we?

South America almost has a 0-team. We are currently negative.

Interesting. Considering my rating went up almost 250 points at one point and I piloted an extraordinarily popular (and expensive) deck to tier one status and top 4'ed and 8'ed in quite a few of this years' major events (33+), I'm just curious as to why my accomplishments are sitting in a dark, dusty corner of what should be considered one of 2008's best (and unquestionably most improved) performances?
On a personal note, I gave up time with my family, friends, and things I enjoy most (like playing cards) to do something noble for myself and my future and with that I can honestly say I gave 2008 the absolute best I ever had. Even though the results are there, I don't need a list to remind me how well I've done, because I know I did exceptionally well.
This wasn't 2007 or 2002. This was 2008. And this was my year.
Hooyah.

Yeah, again: Our very own Legacy World's could be a blast for sure.
I'm positive we aren't lacking players from any non-frozen continent.
The only actual problem is making it happen (read: have someone organize it).
Meh.

Jack Elgin (IBA) - for beeing himself/creating his decks
David Gearhart (Deep6er) - ITF/TA
Dan S. (nitewolf9) - Eva Green/TA
Chris Wilczek (windux) - for beeing a successful player with 4-5c piles, in metagames dominated by loam/nought and for being the fresh prnice of fagoty.
Patrick Richter (no ts account) - he won germany's bigest monthly legacy event, with up to 85 players, 3 times and made 10 times t8 with 11 participations, sic.

Dutch All Stars would be, imo:
1. Robert van Medevoort
2. Fahad Saleh
3. Merrin (forgot his lastname)
4. Kasper Euser
5. Bart Holkenborg
6. Maykol Michiels
7. Mattias Kres
8. Bennie de Beer
9. Rob Beekman
10. Nico van Dalen
But I guess you don't know these guys

Too bad that dutch list is bs. Alot of good players aren't mentionned and some don't even ring a bell to me.

One would hope that people have enough self-esteem to avoid taking threads like this seriously.
