I have a question

if i have hunting ground in play and a tidespout tyrant and one mystic snake. and i play another snake with hunting ground can i then use tyrants ablity to bounce the other snake?

So, you have Hunting Grounds, Mystic Snake and Tidespout Tyrant in play. Then, an opponent plays a spell and you put Mystic Snake from hand into play. Since you didn't play a spell (you put it into play), Tyrant won't trigger and you can't bounce anything here.

No, you don't, you put it into play. You never played it. Since the tyrant triggers from playing a spell, you can't return a permanent to its owners hand.
