How do these two interact? Does vial trigger one both or neither of the Adept's clauses?

Vialing in a Adept means you draw a card, Adept in play and nothing more. No paying, no reveal.

AEther Vial 1
Artifact
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may put a charge counter on AEther Vial.
T: You may put a creature card with converted mana cost equal to the number of charge counters on AEther Vial from your hand into play.

Silvergill Adept 1U
Creature - Merfolk Wizard
As an additional cost to play Silvergill Adept, reveal a Merfolk card from your hand or pay 3.
When Silvergill Adept comes into play, draw a card.
2/1

Note the difference between playing a card and putting a card into play - two completely different things.

Silvergill Adept requires you to pay an additional cost when you play it, but AEther Vial puts a creature directly into play rather than having you play it.

Silvergill Adept also has an ability that triggers when it comes into play - this will, just as it sounds, trigger when it comes into play, no matter how it got into play.
