Maelstrom Archangel and Iname as One

So, if I play Maelstrom Archangel and it does combat damage, and I play Iname as One using the Archangel's trigger do I get to search my library for a spirit card? Or, does the Archangel's trigger not count as "if you played it from your hand?"

You still get to search for a spirit card. You are still playing Iname from your hand, you just don't have to pay the mana cost.

hehe thanks! I know you can cheat Iname into play from your hand and the Iname trigger does not activate, like Sneak attack, because you did not "play it from your hand." I was not sure if this was the case again. Once again, thank for the clarification.
