I've been on a hunt now for quite some time to try and find a pair of the original Ultra Pro Gaming Cases as they are called. As many of you may know, they have been replaced by the larger ones that have a foam insert versus the original plastic one.. Personally, I hate the foam one more then you can understand and I was hoping that someone on here might be able to point me in the direction of a dealer that has some, or might know someone that would be willing to sell there's (If it's in good shape).

Thanks,

Justin

I bought one once, the foam ripped the week I got it. I never knew they had plastic ones.

I had several of the original plastic ones. And in every single one, the plastic cracked and broke within a month.

I had an ex-girlfriend build me a wooden one. Custum made and guaranteed to never break :)

Well, the trick with the plastic ones is that you fill the bottom of them with that expando-foam and it makes them extremely durable.

Still on the hunt!

sorry for the thread hijack but I was wondering something

Is anyone interested in custom gaming cases built from your choice of pine (low cost) up to an including cherry and redwood (high cost but very nice looking)

I have one for myself that i did that is cherry with brass hardware it holds six of the leather deck boxes really well.

For added security i can put locks on them.

And if someone wants i can put artwork under the shellac ( usually just a printout since my drawing skills suck asscrack but I could also do iron on transfers)

As soon as I get time I will post some pics on here.

If there is any interest I will put together a price sheet with options and everything and I figured to start building them this spring

Hit up Ebay. You can still find them there and even used, you can go to Ace Hardware and buy some expanding foam and fill the bottom of it and it will never crack on you again. What I did and it works great.
