Chrome Mox vs Engineered Explosives

Hi,

i have an Engineered Explosives in play with 0 counters and the other guy plays a Chrome Mox... is the following true:

- Chrome Mox comes into play
- Imprint trigger on the stack
- activate Engineered Explosives
(- him tapping Chrome Mox for no mana?)

So, can he get mana in any way out of that Chrome Mox in the case provided?

I was quite sure it goes like that, I just want some kind of confirmation.

You're right; since the Imprint is a triggered ability, he has to pass priority to you before the imprint resolves. Before the imprint resolves, the Chrome Mox does not produce any mana when tapped.
