As you can easily see the deck is designed to beat control and counterbalance-based decks. Unfortunately, as every choice has its trade-offs, looks like it sucks against fast decks (expecially with reach).

The Strategy
Well, abuse the planeswalkwers while keeping the board clean with mass sweepers and pinpoint counterspelling. Also Loam provides additional recurring threats (Mishras' or Wastelands).

Problems

Low blue card count fo FoWs.
High cc removal: fast threaths can easily bring your life total into burn range.
Slow clock: disrupting combo long enought seems utopic.
Counterbalance: the varied curve that makes the deck resilient against it is also a liability whitout top. CB was inserted primarily to fight burn spells.

The Sideboard
Has been assembled to fight it's major problems (BEB and CB vs. Burn / BEB and Plague vs. little green men with haste), and strategies that abuse the graveyard. Grips are probably out of place.
