At superstars in downtown San Jose.

1000 dollars split between top 8, 25 dollar entry fee.

This is a 10 proxy event.

I would make this if I still lived in Las Vegas. Would finally be great to go to an "real" event after 3 years.

Wow, pitiful turnout. Only ten people went.

EDIT: I would have liked to have gone, but I was at the Pepperwood Reserve doing field work that weekend. Kind of a random time to have it...

Sucks. I was hoping at least in the 30s.

Damn, I would have gone if I'd known.

Did they still give out 1k in prizes?

Why don't we get any of these in the SoCal area? 20+ routinely show up to judge foil tournies in LA.

I spoke with some people at the store and hopefully the next one will be better. The timing was horrible, release weekend, and there was hardly any promoting of the event. The 1K is only given out if enough people show up. What ended up happening is the entry went down to 10 bucks because everyone agree's to it and the top 4 split 25 each.

They plan on having more, hopefully I can give more of a heads up here and it will be on a better day.

I would be more inclined to go if it were sanctioned. People really shouldn't need to proxy cards for legacy. I live in SF and if these start to get a reasonable turnout I would try to make it. But for now going to SJ once a month for T1 is enough
