Relic orb is a mono blue prison deck that attempts to achieve a lockdown by taking advantage of an assymetrical winter orb. Cards such as tangle wire, propaganda, tabernacle and port are devastating under a winter orb. The deck became much weaker when krosan grip was printed. I have added the counter top combo to the deck. While these cards are good on their own, they also become primary targets for an enemy's grip. Academy ruins is really good here, it can bring back pieces that got destroyed and chain tangle wires. It also can occasionally do stupid things with counterbalance.
Morphling as a win condition. I've tried many different things here. It doesn't matter too much how you win once you have an opponent locked down.
Ponder is my only draw/shuffle effect. I want to run impulse, but I think it costs 1 too many.
Maze of ith has been pretty spectacular.
The deck has some issues with things like loam and crucible. These decks will use their engines to not miss land drops and recur wasteland. Since my nonbasics are so vital to my gameplan this can be devastating. Mana creatures are generally bad.
