Humility and Meddling Mage

Okay, let's say my opponent got a MM in play naming for exemple vindicate.
If i manage to put a humility into play, does the effect of MM continue or can i then play the vindicate.
I know that under humility, when you play MM you can still name a card.

No, as long as Humility is in play, MM doesn't have his forbidding ability, and so you can play the named card.

However, you are correct that even if Humility is in play, you can name a card as MM enters play. The reason is that this is a static ability that modifies the way MM enters play, not an ability of MM once he's in play, and is therefore not affected by Humility. If Humility leaves play later, the game remembers the named card, and then MM becomes active again.
