HP (Heavily Played) Cards from StarCity

Has anyone bought them? I planned to buy them but the description they have for HP cards seems to make it sound as if the card was folded in half at one time. They say it is playable in a sleeve, but I am still worried. So can someone give me some more info?

If their heavily played is anything like EBAY, it can mean everything from a bend to taped together.

Their "SP" is pretty damn fine anyway (like, I got FBB duals from them that I was able to sell for a profit (for serious) once). They take their Mint very seriously, and their SP hasn't ever been an issue for me, but I'm unsure about the HP (really only because I've never ordered something of that rating from them).

Worst comes to worst you could ask for a picture.

I'd be really careful about heavily played cards. I have a decree of justice that has the smallest crease in it (as in it wasn't folded at all, but yet there's a crease line in the back). I played with that in a dragon shield sleeve, and after only a little play it was already apparent on the wear on the sleeve that the decree had this small crease in it. As in, the wear on the sleeve was enough to the point that I don't want to use it because I feel like the card is marked in sleeves.

Now, that's with dragon shields, I'm not sure about other types of cards, but I'd recommend against it if the definition of heavily played can have creases, etc. If it's just wear on the edges of the card, well...That's perhaps a different story then.

I've bought some from them without issue, they never had a crease or bend, but maybe I just got lucky. You could ask them about the policy for HP cards.

I bought some HP duals from them at GP:Chicago. They are well played, faded and edges are very slightly frayed, but still playable with sleeves. I don't plan on selling them, so as long as they are legal with sleeves, I'm happy.

This. I bought few beta staples from them, and they were all still fine. Nothing serious, all is well in sleeves.

I had purchased some SP cards from them along with some EX cards and I could barely tell the difference. they take the condition of the cards pretty seriously as do I when I sell

Good to know because I just bought 4 HP duals. Hopefully they come in an okay condition.
