I've had this deck sitting in MWS for a while (since Progenitus was spoiled, IIRC), but I kinda forgot about it. I dug it out recently, tinkered with it, and it seems to do alright.

// Lands
1 Forest
1 Swamp
4 Bayou
4 Overgrown Tomb
3 Polluted Delta
3 Bloodstained Mire
3 Wooded Foothills
3 Windswept Heath

// Creatures
4 Magus of the Vineyard
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Tinder Wall
4 Devoted Druid
3 Dimir House Guard
2 Progenitus

// Spells
4 Eladamri's Vineyard
2 Diabolic Intent
4 Natural Order
3 Krosan Grip
4 Maelstrom Pulse

// Sideboard
SB: 4 Guttural Response
SB: 4 Pithing Needle
SB: 4 Choke
SB: 3 Leyline of the Void

Other cards?:
Elvish Spirit Guide
Snuff Out

Optimal play is
Turn 1: land --> Magus of the Vineyard
Turn 2: land --> Natural Order --> Progenitus

I was thinking about taking out the Diabolic Intents (too much creature sacrificing?) for some other disruption, but I don't know what.

Any suggestions for the deck (other than Tarmogoyf, if I wanted it, I'd already play it)?

Do I have to point out how the extra 2 mana that your opponent gets on his either turn 1 or turn 2 will probably let him wreck you?

In exchange, you put a 10/10 pro-everything on the table turn 2. That's a 4th turn goldfish, which every competitive deck that races can do standing on its head, let alone when you spoon feed them two mana.

I mean, you're facing down Turn 1 Matrons (digging for Weirdings), turn 1 Goyfs or even just Top+Activate for free to prevent you from recovering (with counter backup), combo playing 1BB-I-win (that card would be BROKEN in Vintage), Turn 1 Smokestack or Ghostly Prisons, Turn 1 Enchantress's Presences, etc. etc.

I can't think of any deck that would lose even an average draw to your "ideal play."
