I have a box of nearly worthless cards. What would be the best way to sell them?

Give them away as a gift in each one of your eBay auctions.

Lighting them on fire to heat your house to save on oil/natural gas costs would be the most efficient way to use them.

You sure they won't emit poisonous fumes?
(I also hear the cardboard has crack in it :O)

You mean like all those creatures which want combat damage on the stack?

Reject rare draft. Seriously, (relatively) low price buy-in, offer something of value as a prize (or multiple things that have light playablity), and go nuts.

Your location says Binghamton, so I assume NY. There is a game store that holds large events not too far from you (http://maps.google.com/maps?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=&q=vestal,+ny&um=1&ie=UTF-8&split=0&gl=us&ei=yfUvSs3sGoKQMvDCsPkJ&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=title&resnum=1). Although I won't post the website, I think that if you look hard enough (http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=13), you can find it...

Nah, I tried that, the plastic melts and they don't burn very well.

Go to your local card shop and see if there is some casual player/kid who wants to buy them.
