Over the past few days I have had countless people quit games on MWS due to me insisting that when I attack and they block, if one or more of my creatures dies and so does one or more of theirs from combat damage that if Bridge from Below is in my grave I get tokens for the creatures I controlled that died before Bridge is removed from the game.

1> It is my understanding that I am correct in this situation right?
2> I want to copy paste a link to this thread for those people who just insist on telling me Im wrong and leaving.

Thank you

Yes, you are correct. you control the triggers and choice the ordering of them on the stack.

I think this is what you want Joe:

410.3. If multiple abilities have triggered since the last time a player received priority, each player, in APNAP order, puts triggered abilities he or she controls on the stack in any order he or she chooses. (See rule 103.4.) Then players once again check for and resolve state-based effects until none are generated, then abilities that triggered during this process go on the stack. This process repeats until no new state-based effects are generated and no abilities trigger. Then the appropriate player gets priority.

As Kabal said you control the triggers so you can net tokens if you stack the triggers correctly.

Just curious. Does this mean then that the removing Bridges is a trigger controlled by you and not the opponent from who the creature dies?

Because if that trigger is controlled by the opponent then you won't get any tokens. APNAP puts your triggers on the stack, then the triggers of the opponents creatures dying. The Bridges get removed before the token trigger resolves and there won't be any tokens.

Just to make the situation a bit stranger but for me easier to grasp. lets say I sacrifice a Mogg Fanatic to kill off an opponents x/1 creature. As I control the Fanatic and my opponent controls the bridges what happens when I'm active player and what happens when my opponent is active player?

If I control the remove bridge trigger then I can remove them before the fanatic trigger and he won't get any tokens.
If he controls that trigger then I have to sacrifice during my turn to not give him any token(s)... Bridge is harder than I expected.

The bridge owner is the controller of all its triggered effects. Whomever the turn belongs to, you'll control both effect and you'll be able to stack it properly.

When you sacrifice Mogg Fanatic to kill an x/1 the stack will look like this:

(top)
Bridge trigger(s)
Deal 1 damage
(bottom)

(The bridge trigger is either "get zombie" or "remove bridge" depending on whether you are the player with the bridges or not).
Notice that the bridge trigger(s) will resolve before the x/1 is killed.

Just to wrap this topic up, remember that as the controller of the bridge, you can choose whether or not you get tokens by stacking the triggers in a different way. That is, you don't have to get them if you don't want to.

now, during combat on my opponents turn, what exactly is the situation. Since I control bridge, do I get to obtain tokens?

Reading is tech.

Reading is tech.

so the thing I get from this is that no matter whose turn it is, as long as one of my opponents creatures dies along with mine due to any circumstances, I can stack the triggers to get tokens before bridges are removed. Is this correct?
