If you get as bye, what do you get for tiebreak percentages? Such as, does getting a bye give you better tiebreaks than actually winning a match. I was under the impression that it does, but we were having a debate about it on our team site. Judge?

Byes don't affect tiebreaks one way or another. A bye in round 1 generally helps your tiebreakers because you don't end up playing against somebody who then goes on to play in the loser's bracket. You only want to play against winners.

Gotcha. Also opponents who drop negatively affect you tiebreaks don't they? So you would avoid the 0-2 droppers

An 0-2 opponent dropping is bad for you only in that they don't have a chance to come back and improve their record.

You should encourage your 0-x former opponents to stay in and your x-0 opponents to drop :)

An opponent that has a match win record lower then 33% gives you a 33% as their match win for tie breakers. So having an opponent that went 0-2 drop is going to be the same as having an opponent who went 0-3 and the same as 1-2 for your tie breakers.
