The names (actually all info) was taken from SCG website.

No there is a deck called goyf sleigh it uses some burn and stuff, its focus is to make the best use of all your mana every turn.

That list is definitely more Zoo-ish than Goyf Sligh, imo anyway. Sligh doesnt usually use that many creatures (especially Thoctars) whereas Zoo will.

Well I know at least one of those "tarmo sligh" decks is not goyf sligh.

@TheBirdMan:
Angel of Despair? I'm guessing that was Anger.
Sadly I took 17th place, U/r Dreadstill.

Quack played Anger, not Angel of Despair. Sadly, I took 20th place missing out on top8 like Rodney. Boo 6-2 and losing on tiebreaks.

The 8th place is not countertop. Itīs a strange mix with goyf, lavamancers, burning wishes and some blue control tools. However, it looks fun to play ;)

You find me another deck with an equal number of Eye of Nowhere and Lightning Bolts in a top 8 that big and I'll give you a cookie.

It probably has more to do with Eli being an excellent player. (http://webapp.wizards.com/ratings.aspx?action=search_member&personid=34114&brandid=1)

So....
I have all 187 decklists. I've asked SCG to give me the final swiss standings. It remains to be seen whether they will or not.
My intent is to do a breakdown of the field by archetype, but I'd like to do some analysis showing the distribution of archtypes through the field.
Beyond those goals, are there any other requests?

I would at least like to see deck lists that placed 17th - 24th. If you can't provide the actually lists, just what the decks were.
Thanks.

If SCG gives me final standings, I can do that. Or, if you know who they were, I can post them.

Some of the names are off. Zoo is the most notable as it is in the top 4.
Who's sleeping at the wheel?

17th Was Rodney Hannigan (Roodmistah) playing Ur Dreadstill, 24th was Rob Rogers (Hammafistroob) playing Dreaded Merfolk. I have no idea what was 18th-23rd
I think just the (accurate) names of the decks would be great. Any oddballs out there that are new (like Eli's deck in the top 8 or Yan's) should probably come with a list attached.
I say accurate because some of SCG's decklist names were not.

I agree. But accurate to me might mean something different than it does to others. I will be using terms that are understood by the broadest possible audience, and not silly names made up by players that do not in any way help the audience understand what the deck is about.

DEBBY FUCKING DOWNER STRIKES AGAIN!
I just only noticed it on my own, looking over the plans, and comparing them with names this community would be familiar with.
They could've gotten it further off (remember what Randy said about Dreadstill).

I don't care about names, but calling a deck CounterTop Goyf when Counterbalance and Top weren't in the 75 (Eli Kasis' deck) is pretty bad. I also don't want to see too broad of names because CounterTop Goyf could be completely different decks and it doesn't help new comers.

Mike Farrell was 18th I believe with Goyf Sligh, I believe, since he beat me Round 8 to get to 6-2. Yeah, getting the next 8 decklists would be awesome & a link to final standings would be nice as well.

The note on Rob Rogers decklist is that he cheated in round 7.

Didnt they do coverage of this event? They said there were feature matches, or is SCG just making that up?
There were feature matches, but not really any coverage until the T8.
The note on Rob Rogers decklist is that he cheated in round 7.
He didn't actually cheat, the judge suspected him of cheating because just before he game one started he was about to present his deck to be cut but then pulled it back before actually presenting it remembering that he hadn't de-sided. The judge just thought it was sketchy but nothing actually happened.
