Can Gilded Drake be stifled?

I'm quite sure, Gilded Drake has been deserrated so that it works now. But everywhere I look, there is still the clause "This ability can't be countered except by spells and abilities."

I believe they changed it so that it can in fact be stifled with the last eratta update.

I remember because it was the only relevant change in that update.

Part 2 is currently being achieved with the bizarre and unprecedented line "This ability can't be countered." The intent of this line is that the ability can't be countered by the game rules for having no legal targets. Unfortunately, it's also covering effects of spells and abilities like Stifle. Stifle should be able to counter Gilded Drake's ability.

New Oracle text:
Flying
When Gilded Drake comes into play, exchange control of Gilded Drake and up to one target creature an opponent controls. If you don't make an exchange, sacrifice Gilded Drake. This ability can't be countered except by spells and abilities. (This effect doesn't end at end of turn.)

Yes, you can stifle it's CiP ability. The last sentence makes sure that if there is no legal target, you have to sacrifice Gilded Drake.

Omg, I did not see the "except". I really could not understand what was happening here, since I was sure of the ruling but I could find it on the oracle text. Thx all.
