I don't mean to claim any credit for this, just working on a slightly different idea...wondering if you guys have any tips.
x2 Gaea's Cradle
x4 Wooded Foothills
x4 Savannah
x8 Forest
x4 Nettle Sentinel
x4 Llanowar Elves
x4 Quirion Ranger
x4 Wirewood Symbiote
x3 Heritage Druid
x4 Priest of Titania
x4 Elvish Archdruid
x4 Regal Force
x2 Slate of Ancestry
x1 Mirror Entity
x2 Concordant Crossroads
x4 Instill Energy
x2 Chord of Calling
----------------------
The idea of this deck is pretty obvious, and is nothing new...
Priest/Archdruid fuel the deck, along with untaps from Quirion and Wirewood and Instill = huge amounts of mana(think 50 per turn). Use Entity/Mass Archdruid + Concordant to win the game.
Draw your deck through Regal Force/Slate.
Any tips/ideas are welcome, or if you want to you can yell at me for being a netdeck motherfucker...but I feel as if this one has my own personal mark on it.

First, slate and regal force are weak sauce compared to glimpse of nature.
also, wirewood with elvish visionary seems like awesomesauce.
finally, this deck wants to have summoner's pact really bad.

Check out the epic elf survival thread for ideas for elves, its the other option for legacy elves. The original list ran the mirror entity kill which you are trying here, we ran Sylvan Messenger which with symbiote is silly. Natural Order+ progenitus is an auto win and can help get regal force, I have seem some lists run it, idk how good it really is for this build. Also this deck gets rolled to counterbalance. Idk if this is more for a local tournament but you will need something to stop cb if you want to play bigger events. The obvious choice here would be k grip for sideboard. Slate of ancestry seems like a neat choice, def check out messenger though.

I dunno, I tried Glimpse, and I could never tell when it would work out - but I'll try playtesting it some more.
Visionary and Wirewood worked pretty well, but I decided to drop Visionary for more Regal's.
Natural Order is a great card, definitely gonna use that, as well as testing Summoner's Pact.

By replacing the banned cards and making a few other alterations from Rich Shay's vintage elf list, I got this:
Lands:
4 Wooded Foothills
5 Forest
4 Windswept Heath
Mana Elves:
4 Birchlore Rangers
4 Fyndhorn Elves
4 Heritage Druid
4 Llanowar Elves
3 Elvish Spirit Guide
Engine:
4 Nettle Sentinel
1 Regal Force
1 Weird Harvest
4 Glimpse of Nature
Other Stuff:
4 Wirewood Symbiote
4 Elvish Visionary
4 Quirion Ranger
1 Viridian Shaman
1 Grapeshot
4 Summoner's Pact
That would be my list if I were to play elf combo in a tournament. However, if I had to play elves in legacy, it would be elf survival because while it is slightly less explosive, it is a much better deck, in that it is much more consistent, barely slower, and is much better suited to play against other decks in the legacy metagame.

I don't understand why no one's elf lists ever run blue.

What would you be running blue for?

From my experience, Slate of Ancestery worked 90% of the times as a win-more card. However, my build is not combo-focused.

What about Staff of Domination?
If you have elf producing 5 mana, you can go infinite.
Then draw into a Crossroad, and play/attack...
Assuming they don't counter anything.
Or secret tech Tendrils of Agony/Grapeshot.

Weird Harvest is not a good replacement for Skullclamp from Vintage Elves. In the Vintage lists, Skullclamp is the second best card in the deck behind Black Lotus.

People generally play blue for the Intruder Alarm/Banishing Knack - Infinite Mana/Tokens.
I'll think about Staff, but the initial slowdown may be slightly too much - I like to combo out on about turn 3/4. I'll try it out.

This, @ both parts.
Wanting blue is just a personal preference, but whatever you run, I feel like staff is just one more card that I wish was a mana elf or something useful 9/10 times. A one card win con is good, but it does no good when its a dead draw. I think any elves list needs to seriously reconsider making hasty elves, because that powers the engine as well as being a wincon.
