Someone told me that nothing can be played during the draw step. I thought you could (makes Vendillion Clique and instant speed discard fun).

Someone explain this.

Untrue.

Maybe that person meant that you can't cast spells "in response" to the draw.

504. Draw Step

504.1. First, the active player draws a card. This turn-based action doesn't use the stack.

504.2. Second, any abilities that trigger at the beginning of the draw step and any other abilities that have triggered go on the stack.

504.3. Third, the active player gets priority. Players may cast spells and activate abilities.

Damn I thought so. I knew that the draw was stackless. I'll have to tell him he's damn wrong. He mumbled some bullshit about M10 and since I'm not 100% familiar with all of the changes, I was unsure.

But then again, other people at this place were saying that M10 rulings were going to bring restricted cards to Legacy.

Idiots make me double check what I am almost positive of sometimes.
