Legacy Phoenix scene?

I'll be going up to Phoenix, Arizona for college (Arizona State University) and I was wondering if there was a Legacy scene up there, more specifically around the Tempe campus of ASU. If there isn't one, would anyone around that area want to set up some sort of weekly Magic get-together thing around the ASU campus (since I won't have a car for at least the first year D:)? That would be awesome.

Hey man, fellow Sun Devil here. The only currently active Legacy scene in the Phoenix area is pretty far from ASU. Game Nightz at Metro mall tries to have two Legacy tourneys a month and sometimes don't even have enough people.

The store closest to campus is Pop Culture Paradise, which is literally just a walk away and is almost technically ON campus :tongue:

I'm actually not too familiar with that store as I go to one in Mesa, but PCP does have FNMs, drafts, etc.

Me and some other people in Mesa (at Gamer's Inn) would definitely be interested in trying to start a Legacy scene. We already have a fairly healthy Vintage group, so we really already have more than enough cards to play competitive Legacy.
