Sadly, there is no real scene for MtG outside of type 2 in Kalamazoo right now. They use to run Tuesday night events around here, but you'll have to drive to Livonia or Lansing now. If you are just looking for a shop to play at, visit fanfare (http://www.fanfare-se.com/) on Tuesday or Friday nights.

I don't know where exactly Kalama is, but I don't know of many Legacy tournaments held in zoos pretty much anywhere. Although I guess the smell could cause some confusion.
(Look at me! I'm so witty my third left toenail has a Wikiquote page!)

Hey dude I live in Lansing. For all of you Michigan guys looking for a place to play Legacy or EDH Capital City Comics in Downtown lansing has an edh tourney every weekend and a legacy tourney every third week of the month.
If you need any more information check the tournaments page and search up capital city comics.
Or just give me a call. PM me for my phone number you sexy bitches.

I actually use to play Type 1 at Fanfare when they ran them. The store is absolutely amazing, everything you could think of. When I was there they had a booster box of Legends.

This store is owned by a guy who used to own a shop in BC. From what I remember, the store isn't very well maintained and he isn't exactly the tournament holding type. Even so... good luck to you if you do end up getting him to host events.

Since then the store has actually gotten better. Almost anything you would need is there at fairly reasonable prices. Also, the staff is very friendly and willing to work with you on trades/pricing/etc.

I don't move to Kalamazoo for another week and a half or so. Once there the lack of any legacy magic will make me go crazy. I'll see what i can do to get people together once I'm over there. Thanks for all the insight so far.
