Just a thought. It's Faeries with Chains. Clique is pumped up, and any bonuses other control decks might get via CA/CF are lost.
I don't know. It's just an idea. I'm bored.
p.s. Soul Warden is in there to counteract the lifeloss. I've tried it in similar decks and it really does work.

This would be a cool deck if there was a Faerie that had the Chains ability.
Also, 3 Force of Will?
Cloud of Faeries is good friends with spellstutter sprite.

I'm not exactly sure what the first part meant... As for the second, I don't believe there are enough blue cards to warrant it. Plus, it would suck to hit FoW with Confidant.

Eh, it's clever, but not really super fantastic with any of my previous toys.

You know how Sower of Temptation is just Control Magic on a stick, and Spellstutter Sprite is just a Counterspell on a stick?

Ah, indeed. Imagine a Magus of the Chains...

Is Chains of Mephistopheles actually all that good in Legacy? You hit Brainstorm and Standstill, and that's about it. If you're playing Faeries, shouldn't you already be able to smash the blue decks by virtue of having good instants?

If you play any FoWs, play 4. At the worst it's another blue pitch card, so it only helps the other forces. -1 Soul Warden, +1 Force of Will

Thresh, Loam, anything else that cycles, etc. It'd surprise you how much it actually effects a game. The only decks that really don't use draw are Dredge, D-Stompy, and Goblins off the top of my head. (Dredge likes Chains, though...)
p.s. Brainstorm alone is played in 75% of all decks.

Chains seems good at first glance, but they can still draw cards. So it doesn't really affect Loam engines all that much. They just have to discard, then they replace their draw with the dredge action.

Ah, shit, indeed. I haven't tested Chains against Loam ever. I just figured cycling+Chains=bad.

A good faerie pilot should never lose to another blue deck... NEVER!
It is a real shame that it fell to the wayside like it did... a truly powerful tribe is just going to total waste...
Chains is really only good against other blue control, so it is kind of a waste...
Although chains is pretty good against decks like threshold (only manipulation is then top)...
Anyways... I am done, its not like anyone listens to me on here anyways.

It's good against merfolk, threshold, loam, enchantress, landstill, planeswaker decks and solidarity. I was considering running some in the sideboard myself, but I dismissed the idea because Chains doesn't "impact the board" and I didn't play any other cards that work well with it.

Excluding Goblins, that's pretty much every tier1 deck and a good chunk of 1.5s.
Spellstutter, Sower, Trinket Mage, Confidant, Bitterblossom, Clique (w/ help) are all card advantage. Mix in Chains completely denying any of your opponents CA, and you should just be able to overwhelm them.

You also have the Zoo builds that run Sylvan Library for extra gas. eat down their hand before they really get going and make sure that they stay down as much as you can. Just a thought. Also there's Jace in Ultimate Walker, though you would have to discard as well, so that might be a time where the Chains would sit in your hand

It's easy enough to hold a land or an extra Bitterblossom to take advantage of that. It's not like it's 3 cards.

with the exception of those who like their bobs, every other deck's draw engine is a DRAW engine. Extra credit for making Goblins' most popular kill spell (cycling Incinerator) cost 2 mana AND 2 cards to do maybe 6 damage to a creature.
Chains really is good in the current Meta. Too bad Ad Nauseam doesn't draw. What do you SB it with against ANT and Eva Green?
