Does anyone have any experience with this material as a card storage device?
I recently purchased 10 BCW double sided black vinyl card pages.
From my understanding many people use the polypropylene clear pages because they are PVC free, non acidic, and considered archival material.
These are made out of vinyl and I am curious if they will destroy my cards over time. I cannot find any extensive information on this material in regards to MTG card storage.
Thoughts?

the vinyl will dry and crack a lot faster then others. I have used Ultra pro since the 80's to store sports cards and I have a AN set in a binder of them that the cards are still the same way as when I put them in 10+ years ago

Thank you.
Will the material itself cause the cards to degrade?

it will crack scratching your cards and possibly damage them I have never had a card degrade in the ultra pros but I have had sports cards when I buy collections that are stuck to the pages of the vinyl from heat and moisture.

Perhaps I should put them into KMC Perfect fits first. I don't want to store them for years, I just wanted to have something for a short term storage/trade binder.

I use KMC's for any card valued at over $10 before storing it.
If you dont plan on the card being in the binder longer then a month or so then the cheapest sleeves you can get are fine. my trade binders are them small 4 per page folders i get from wally world.

I've never had a problem with the Ultra Pro pages. I have had a problem with the pages (not sure of the brand) that have scored pages like little dots along each side of the cards. Those kind of pages suck. I hate looking through them when people have them in the trade folder.
They tend to break apart at the seams quite readily. Do not buy them!
Go with Ultra pro just for the sheer fact they last longer if anything. The cheapy ones tear up in nothing flat. I can't comment much on the acidiness of the cheapys or Ultra Pro, but I have been using the same ones for quite a while and they haven't given me a problem.
I'd knock it up to "get what you pay for".
By the way, if it matters I deal in thousands of cards a month.
