Eternity Preserver
6
Artifact -Mythic-
Eternity Preserver enters the battlefield with X charge counters on it, where X is your life total.
Landfall - Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, you may have your life becomes equal to the number of charge counters on Eternity Preserver.

Does not seem relevant in Legacy, but could be awkward with Urza's lands in Extended.

My first reaction upon seeing this card was "HA HA HA, OH WOW."

Totally unplayable in this format, fucking annoying as hell in Limited if the game is close and goes long.

Turboland might make use of it. Don't know if that would make Turboland suck less.

Hm... could be funny in some StaX shell...

Another toy for Arcum Dagsson decks I suppose, and one that might actually matter in EDH.

It's fun to use against burn strategies and the like with a fetchland on the field, but the very high mana cost kills it.

Too expensive, but it's going to anger more than a few players in sealed, block and t2.

Another SB card for Eternal Garden. It is combo with Glacial Chasm against aggro and it beats Burn. But it's probably too slow...

I'm loving this set for EDH.

If your life total changes upwards, then that's considered gaining life. Nefarious Lich or no? :)

Eternity Preserver. Then Lich. Then fetchland. Draw 40. GG.

How about Enternity Preserver, Dismantle, Triskelion.

How about Enternity Preserver, Dismantle, Triskelion.

How about Eternity Preserver, Dark Ritual, Dark Ritual and Ad Nauseam. Heck, you could even do it without the Eternity Preserver if you really try.

The card is obviously not Legacy or Vintage playable (although keep in mind that it wasn't that many years ago when Zuran Orb was played).

However, from a casual standpoint, I'm definitely going to try to get some of these. It's WAY too fun not to have (although I could say the same thing about a lot of small-value rares that I don't have yet so it may be totally moot).

The best friends of this card are Channel and Fastbond and they are restricted, downer. -_-
