Full land art petition?

MaRo said in his article that the full art basic lands in Zendikar are only b/c its the land block and won't become a permenant feature of Magic.

If I started an online petition to make it a permenant feature would you sign it?

I wouldn't, I'd just stock up on Zendikar land because I knew people cared enough to start petitions about them and sell them for mad cash in a year or so :D

No, I wouldn't. It just isn't important enough to bitch about it. Hell, even the removal of damage-on-stack wasn't important enough to bitch about it (aside from dedicated forums of course).

Honestly, I prefer the normal land. It's nice to have a temporary change once in a while though.

If it was white border full art basic lands, then i'd go to some lengths to support them, but black border, i dont really care enough. I'll probably get myself a few copies of the one land of each color i like most, but other then that it aint worth the effort.

there just basic lands, personally i like some extravagant art work on them, so taking up the full card with artwork i'm all in favor of.

Reasons to not let your voices be heard include wasting other people's time as well as your time with it, adding to the general level of noise (making it harder to receive relevant information), or insulting people with your opinion. Not talking about the specific topic at hand, of course.

One shot full art lands makes them special like Unglued/Unhinged ones. There is a really simple formula:

Make it once = special and interesting or people can get over it if they hate it.
OR
Make it all the time = It becomes ordinary and boring after a while.

The full art basics look weird. They're too different from nonbasic land. In fact, they're too different from all the other cards. My favorite lands are from Urza's block - the last set that didn't use the stupid huge mana symbol. All the nonbasics say "T: Add ~ to your mana pool." so why shouldn't the basics? Besides, the duals don't have big honking mana symbols on them.

Which kind of takes the point of printing them in a "normal" set away, imho.

The only request needed in this matter is WotC's balance sheet about ZEN. You do not need to bother with such bothering thing.

It's just something cool they decided to do, and by limiting it only to ZEN block they keep it something cool and not something normal.

What's wrong with having cool things?
