When I took into account all of the graveyard based decks floating around the format right now, I thought this could do pretty well. The idea would be to run things that take cards out of the grave so that the opponent cant attack while you have Web of Inertia or Energy Field on the board. The strategy would be geared then to beat aggro decks, and graveyard based decks in that it would run a lot of MD grave removal and be an anti aggro strategy at the same time.

Web of Interia 2U
Enchantment
At the beginning of each opponent's combat phase, that player may remove a card in his or her graveyard from the game. If that player doesn't, creatures he or she controls can't attack you this turn.

and

Energy Field 1U
Enchantment
Prevent all damage that would be dealt to you by sources you don't control.
When a card is put into your graveyard from anywhere, sacrifice Energy Field.

Both work well with grave removal. The question is, which one works better? Sure Energy Field is cheaper, but it makes you target yourself when sometimes targeting the opponent with grave removal is better.

SB:
15 open slot

Basic Interactions:
Web of Inertia + Wheel of Sun and Moon = Opponent can't attack you.
Crypt/Relic = remove grave so Web can actually work
Energy Field + Wheel of Sun and Moon = Opponent can't deal you damage.
Luminarch Ascension + a Board Lock = win condition

I'm banking on these match-ups once the deck becomes optimized
Good Match-ups:
Goblins
Elves
Zoo
Merfolk
Reanimator
Ichorid
Salvager
Threshold
Cephalid Breakfast
Affinity

Bad Match-ups:
FT
ANT
TES
SI
Discard
Burn (unless i play more Energy Field)
Landstill
Rock

I think its quite possible to deal with combo in the SB if I have a heavy amount of hate. Burn could be taken care of with Chill perhaps or just Energy Field. Rock can beat me pretty easily because of Deed and Landstill runs EE so its the same situation. Discard just wrecks my game alot.

Other cards that I would like to fit in here are:
Jotun Grunt (good grave removal and a beater)
Samurai of the Pale Curtain (see above)

Thoughts?

Leyline of the void /helm combo seems to work well with web, as well as being an instant 2 card win, rather than the slow, grinding win from ascention. IMO winning now is superior, as the many turns it takes to win with ascention will likely give your opponent time to find enchantment removal. Also, decks with burn will likely destroy you, as they don't need to attack if they can get in a few early attacks, then just chain cantrips and fire/ice and bolts to finish you. LLotV +helm puts them in a much worse situation, and LLotV is much stronger GY hate than most all of yours other than relic.
