Ravenous Trap 2BB
Instant - Trap Uncommon
If an opponent had three or more cards put into his or her graveyard from anywhere this turn, you may pay 0 rather than pay Ravenous Trap's mana cost.
Exile all cards from target player's graveyard.
Yay Ichorid hate?
EDIT: This is better than other stuff that isn't this, right? Like, this seems better than Tcrypt against Dredge.

Against Ichorid yes, against everything else no. I you want to devote space in the sb for Ichorid this would be it. If you sometimes you side graveyard hate against other deck then no.

+ It defends from nutty starts even when on the draw
+ It can't be Needled
+ It's a much better Wish target for Landstill than Honor the Fallen
- It's very weak to hand disruption, having it on the play G3 vs an Ichorid player who has a Therapy is going to be awkward
- It's pretty mediocre against Survival and you can't bring it in for random matchups where shrinking Goyf would be nice
Conclusion: Meh. It'll probably show up, being a Wish target is nice, but I'd be skeptical of it shutting out Crypt/Relic as the hate of choice

Right, I forgot that you board in graveyard hate against decks that aren't Ichorid.

I think we would've been a lot more interested in this card before Entomb was unbanned.

Particularly in Brazilian metagame, where Ichorid goes rampant in number in tournaments, this card'll be a must. It's much better than all the grav... dredge hate we have around.
And as a friend well observed: there's a trap to stop storm and one to stop graveyards. Both cost 0 to cast, fit in any deck, and solve with relative eficiency the problem they're adressed to. But the stupid green one costs G and puts 4 frickin' bugs into play instead of killing that damned Counterbalance! Just DUH.

To be fair it also hoses Life from the Loam AND Intuition something fierce, and what decks do you really find the MD space to bring in GY-hate towards otherwise?

As far as I know you have no priority while dredgeing is going on so your opponent "activated your Trap card" but still has his Loam in hand, that's not what I want againt Loam decks.

The thing I dislike about this card VS Ichorid is cabal therapy can stop it pretty easily.

I thought about that a little more, and what came to me is that you can usually cast it in response. If they dredge up a therapy, you can just immediately play the Trap, and if they're hardcasting therapy at you for your trap, that's one more turn you've got to not die. Granted, it's not as game breaking, but it's still something.

I do get a laugh out of the fact that Death and Taxes can now play blue and black cards in the board. Mindbreak Trap and this one. lol
