So I'm going to a legacy tourney on Saturday, and I have no idea what to play. I know from talking to people that the good players that are gonna be there are going to be playing:
Zoo
Dredge
Canadian Thresh
2 Goblins
UWB Cunning Landstill
Sui Black/Deadguy variant
Countertop variant (most likely Black Thresh)
Merfolk w/ Goyf
And then a bunch of scrubs with bad decks, prob some Burn, more Sui Black, budget decks, etc.
I have the cards to build pretty much every deck in the format, with the exception of Lands b/c I don't have any Tabernacles or Intuitions. So what should I play?

Sounds like a wonderful place to 6-0 with Ichorid

Seriously, play Enchantress, LED-less Ichorid or DDFT.
Those 3 will do it.

Seems to me most of these options require quite intimate knowledge of the deck and how the deck interacts with the format. For the love of God don't just pick up a combo deck or Ichorid without having ever played it before and think you can pilot it to 1st place. Depending on your own knowledge of the format maybe play something like Zoo or some version of Stompy (Faerie or Dragon). Those are relatively easy to pilot. Again, not really sure what you're capable of playing well.

I would play LEDless Ichorid without hesitation.

Could run into the bad player who's heard of dredge and is packing 4x leyline 4x tormod's crypt 4x Relic of progenitus in the board. Been there before... :(

So I ended up playing Lands because my friend couldn't go and lent me the deck. I 4-0'ed the swiss, beating Ichorid, Countertop, Zoo, and the mirror. Then beat the mirror again in the Top 4 and split the finals for a Mox Pearl. It would have been a great tournament to play ANT, since there were like 4 other lands decks, a bunch of aggro decks, and only 1 countertop deck. Ichorid would have actually been a poor choice, as everyone was sideboarding shit like Ravenous Trap. Fortunately, lands is actually pretty good at fighting through yard hate.

Wtf playing the land mirror 2 times? 5 Lands decks, 1 countertop deck, tons of people playing ravenous crap!? Weird...well congrats on the finish.
