Hey guys
I've got a Legacy tourney coming up at my local shop for which the prizes are FtV Exiled things and my current legacy deck is non LED dredge tho I am considering buying the LED's shortly and I am just wondering what you guys' opinions are (probably know way more about the deck than i do) on whether the explosiveness of LED or the supposed consistancy of non LED would be better to take into an unknown meta with a high probability of random/semi to non competitive legacy decks.

If you could let me know which you would take and why, along with the decklist youre using at the moment and especially sideboard choices that would be most appreciated!

Thank you! =]

You could ask in the Ichorid thread, or in the "Which Deck Should I Play?" thread.

It mainly depends on your metagame, but the difference seems to be fairly minor and neither seems strictly better. There are people in both camps who have made top finishes in large tournaments.

For a tournament coming up, the cost in practice time/playing skill to switch is probably more than any advantage you might get from playing a slightly more optimized version, so I would continue playing LEDless. The two mulligan quite differently and frankly mulliganning properly is often the only important game decision made by an Ichorid player (boarding properly is also important).

An interesting question would be: Which version is more played and which version does best?

Simply put, neither is strictly better than the other. Which one you should play is dependent on the field you're expecting and you're own play style. As for deck lists and sideboarding strategies you should look to the dedicated threads for each of those decks. The opening posts will likely have a lot of what you're looking for.
