With the objective of winning through Barren Glory, this deck was built. It focuses on temporary mana sources, combined with the tutor power of LED/Infernal Tutor to find win conditions while emptying the hand. Empty the Warrens functions as an alternate kill condition to take advantage of the mana-production also generating storm. However, it is hard to generate lethal storm for tendrils to work here.
The colors necessary for this deck allow maindeck hate in the form of silence, orim's chant, and duress.

Yes, storm is a better and faster combo deck. However, it still can win on its turn 2 (not very casual) and runs 4x LED (not very budget). I figured this was the best place for it.

I tried messing with this deck idea for a bit but was unsuccessful. My version used some pact of the titans. Academy Rector and Kaerveck's Spite, but maybe spite and crystal vein can be used here with mystical tutor?

Academy Rector and Kaerveck's Spite
HAHA! That sounds like so much fun, actually. Did you make your deck mostly discard/disruption and then go for the combo? It seems to me if you made the deck straight Black/White you could focus on Cabal Therapies and Duress/Thoughtseize in order to make the combo stick. I think I may make this for fun, actually.
Anyway, to the OP, I think a little less mana accel to make room for some disruption would make it more consistent against the field. I would also up the Orim's Chant count for that final turn. Or, alternatively, you could play Final Fortune and win right then and there. Talk about a deck no one would expect! Academy Rector-->Kaerveck's Spite-->Final Fortune. Opponent --> Somehow seems too scrubby to be competitive.

Lol that's funny 'cause just the other day I came across Barren Glory and this guy was talking about these funny ways of abusing it.

One day, WotC will print something that will make this card broken...
Look at Grindstone, Natural Order and Dark Depths...

Neither of those cards require you to have the crappiest board position possible nor have an empty hand. This one requires both. That's pretty sketchy to say the least. You're probably better off playing Battle of Wits.

Want to consider having Greater Gargadon in the list? Very helpful on clearing out permanents on your side
