I can't believe there is so few people playing legacy in the major city of Ontario.

I don't have a car, so it's hard for me to go to London, Missisauga, Hamilton or Barrie.

How come 401 or Hairy Tarentula never host legacy or vintage ?

401 and Hairy T's used to host both Vintage and Legacy, but they haven't done so in quite a few years. There has been litterally no Vintage or Legacy in Toronto in quite a few years unless it is a side event of a major tournament. You really need to find rides to Missisauga, Barrie and Oshawa to play in Vintage or Legacy events, the best place to do this is on www.mtgontario.com.

Hope this helps!

people barely played magic in general in toronto. a lot of shops didnt even carry the cards or had piss poor selections. I'd find better selections and deals at various flea markets. its like there is the potential for it to be a huge money maker, but nobody is interested.

Thxs gooba....I went on www.mtgontario.com, this forum is dead cold if not to talk about 401 being robbed. I'm pretty sure new people can't even register and get their account validated.

I can't believe I live in the third world of MTG :/ !

Well, at least we have hot water....when pipes don't freeze.

To get validated, sign up for an account on the site, then PM me here with your username/e-mail that you used to sign up, and I will message the site administrator. There were too many spambots for him to handle, so he only allows users via referral.

I know it's a ways to go but When Worlds Collide in Oshawa have decent Legacy events with good prize support.

If it makes you feel any better Kingston also sucks for Legacy.

Has anyone tried organizing a Legacy tournament in Toronto? I used to organize tournaments in Windsor (many many years ago) and it's not so difficult. Instead of just waiting for a Legacy scene to magically appear (no pun intended), you could all try to build one. "If you build it, they will come."
