imagine this card had not been printed in legends and didnt exist. if it was printed for the first time in worldwake. what do you think it would be valued at ?

Prolly $15 or so. It would completely and utterly rape creature strategies in standard. And it would likely be mythic.

Are Wizards OK with printing non-mana lands again yet? Aside from fetches and the deliberately old-school Dark Depths I thought all lands had to make mana nowadays.

Which would be a very valid argument if it wasn't for the fact that this is a hypothetical "what-if"-thread.

In any case, my guess is around $15-20. It would make a good addition to the TurboFog deck in Standard, it'd be good in Scapeshift and similar decks in Extended and still as viable in defensive Loam decks in Legacy.

As a rare, $25 on release, declining to $15-20, depending on Standard playability.

As a mythic, $30+ on release, either declining to $20-25 if it's not used in standard (see Lotus Cobra) or rising to $35+ if it is (see Baneslayer).

I question how likely it would see play. Turbofog doesn't want it, except maybe as an anti-Eldrazi Green sideboard card. Decks in standard right now don't typically pollute the board with tons of guys; they can just pay the :3: and keep swinging with enough power to force you to Fog or Wrath, and if you Wrath, they get to drop more guys and continue the dance.

It would be a very, very different story if it weren't legendary.

I haven't bothered to check, but has the recent errata affected the price of Tabernale in any way? Nowadays the effect destroys the creature instead of makes controller sacrifice it.

1 MTGO ticket is approximately 1 dollar unless you buy your tickets on ebay for 80-87 cents a ticket.

Tix don't ebay below a dollar very often anymore. Tabernacle on MODO isn't T2 legal, so this doesn't really tell us anything.
