Shaharzad Question for the daring

Scenario.

In a Shaharzad Subgame, opponent casts Golden Wish and gets a Lich that is in play in the normal game on his side? I guess it doesn't really specify if a card can be in play or not.

712.4. All objects in the main game and all cards outside the main game are considered outside the subgame (except those specifically brought into the subgame). All players not currently in the subgame are considered outside the subgame.

712.4a. Some effects can bring cards into a game from outside of it. If a card is brought into a subgame from a main game, abilities in the main game that trigger on objects leaving a main-game zone will trigger, but they won't be put onto the stack until the main game resumes.

Heh, most likely a multiplayer game - and chances the dude with the Lich didn't cast Shaharazad.

Yeah, it was an EDH multiplayer game. I guess I should have just looked that one up. Didn't think there'd actually be a section for it.


Just for the record never play Shaharzad in EDH. Holy shit that card is annoying as hell in that format. 3 people conceded the subgame right away just because it's just not even worth playing it out. lol
