Hey people,
I was wondering if there is any other source, apart from E-Bay, for prices of DCI foils?
Thanks in advance,
Leander

It's derived from eBay prices, but going to magictraders.com and using their price guide search for foils works really well.

I think he just means in general... As in is their a site with a comprehensive list of DCI foil values such as there is for any normal print run cards.

You could try doing 70% of star city's pricing.

Actually, I think it's a good idea to check around some of the online shops and see how many -- if any -- they have in stock, which can tell you about how hot it is. If a foil is $3 and they have none anywhere, it's probably worth more than $3, but if it's 5 and they have 17, it's probably not worth 5, and so on.
I think MOTL is your best bet though.

MoTL is bad fro DCI Foils because the software has a hard time differentiating between regular and DCI foil and DCI foils are so scarce on ebay for some of them I would just be out checking stores and compare 5 or 6 and see what they are selling at. Like the other poster said if there is 0 in stock at $5 and 12 in stock at $7 then it is most likely worth about $6

Thanks all!
The reason for my question was that I want to follow Survival's price until it's reasonably low. At the moment it's 50 dollar, but they have 29 in stock, so It's probably worth less.
You can try aggregators like www.allmagiccards.com or www.findmagiccards.com. Findmagiccards even has a price history graph.
Keep in mind that stores have to pay to be listed on those sites though, so the data is not 100% perfect.
SCG 5ks should push prices down a little, but you may not see a significant drop until PT San Diego.

Even if you're not going to be shopping for them on Ebay. You can get a pretty good idea of the going rate by using the "Advanced Search" option, under "Search Including" section checking off "Completed Listings" and it will give you the prices recent auctions have sold in.
The DCI Survivals for instance have all been ending in the $35-37 range.
