A few things to mention in updates:

*First tournament went off last night, got 8 people, should have been more due to 5 inches of snow hitting.

*Added in "1 point for drawing"

*43 packs were given away

*$40 was added into the 1st seasonal tournament prize pot. Also added a running total in the first post.

*Added decks and results for the type 2.

Reminds me of my local store's Sunday tournaments, but better because you can win cash/a box every week.

I'm surprised only 8-10 people show up for this. How far away from Pittsburgh are you?

30 miles down the turnpike...takes me 45mins and that is with slow driving to get from pitt to greensburg

Maybe that explains the low turnouts. I'd go but I live on the other side of the state.

Are you in the Michael's shopping center?

Standard on Feb. 5th did not occur, we closed at 6:30 due to weather. Extended this Friday is still planned to fire off, there is a PTQ in Columbus, OH the next day so this is a great way to get some testing in!

i would really like to get back to defend my title but my work schedule has made that impossible lately.

and to everyone that's been thinking about going, just go to these. its a really comfortable environment to play some competitive magic and the prizes are better than what any other shop in the region is offering for a weekly event.

these are still happening, right?

i may show on friday if they are

Ok. After snowstorms and lack of T1 interest, I think I finally have a feeling how this should work. Making it just Standard and Legacy. Nothing else will change. Here are the dates for March:

March 5th- Extended (This is an exception with an Extended PTQ on the 6th nearby)
March 12th- Legacy
March 19th- Standard
March 26th- Legacy

Legacy this week!

Also, we canceled our Gameday due to the PTQ the same day, so WoTC let us give these away for our tournament series events. So our prizes will now, until we run out of supplies include the promos!
