Howdy! I made this deck a while ago with the assistance of the fine folk here, and am posting my list to see if anyone has any ideas of what to change based on the current legacy metagame, while keeping it generally the same idea.
Should I add in the new Jace, also?
Thanks a bunch!

You really gotta work on balancing out the curve more... If you survive to cast Bolas... There is certaianly a few ways they could have already been long dead. You kind lack a constant curve and instead seem sporadic in your curve.

Do you actually hardcast Nicol Bolas in this deck? Seems rather mana intensive without finding out a way to cheat it into play.
I'd replace the Hymns with either Daze or Sinkhole, I believe you do not have enough discard to fully optimize Hymn's constant threat factor of being followed up with more discard.
Daze seems like it would be really good in this deck and Sinkhole compliments Bolas and Wasteland pretty well as well. Both cards being pretty good tempo cards while Hymn sticks out like a sore thumb when not complimented by other cards of the same ilk.
have you considered Thoughtseize?
EDIT: Thoughtseize, Daze, and Force of Will are probably the only Proactive and Reactive cards I would actually put in the same deck, along with Sinkhole in certain builds.

Where is Firespout? It is probably one of the better removal options in red, and certainly pulls its weight in UWR Ultimate Walker. Other than that, Damnation is always an option. Regardless of what you choose, more mass removal is probably better than spot removal given the large amount of aggro running around at the moment.
I agree that Hymn to Tourach doesnt have a place here, but I dont think Daze is ideal either, as you want to get to a high mana count as fast as possible. Taking a page out of the Landstill book, Counterspell would probably work alot better. I don't think sinkhole fits here either.
To start, the changes I would make would probably be
-4 Hymn, -1 Fire//Ice, -1 Forbid
+3 Counterspell, +3 Firespout

Thanks very much for the replies guys! I will simply try what everyone has suggested and get back to you all.
And yes I hardcast nicol bolas. This was just for kicks but I realized it works pretty well, he is a beast.
EDIT: Should I add the new jace?

Not to beat a dead horse but it is pointles to really wonder about the new Jace until we see what the whole set presents.
Every new card has the ability to drasticly impact the format (they all won't) but any card could.
Personally I don't think the new Jace will be that awesome in a deck like this. I think a Bant deck will benefit the most from it since they can protect him effectively while applying pressure.

If I run firespout, it might be interesting to add a single tropical island, as it would allow firespout to hit the air, and me to blow up 4 sunburst explosives.
Yes? No?

Yes? No?
Test it^^.
But the more your meta leans towards Stifle/Waste the more the answear becomes no.
2 More things:
- Posting a list with Cunning Wish but without sb is kinda meh =)
- Is Liliana worth it? I played her 1 time in a Sealed Event and even there she was underwhelming.

I may even change the deck entirely, I've just been experimenting with making a RUB deck, and this and the faerie deck are the only ones I've tried out. Pretty fun but might make something else with the colors, if I can figure out what works.

What about dropping something for blightning and keeping the hymns?

Blightning seems a bit too close to mind rot in a deck that is going to take control well before it wins. If you're really dieing to keep in the discard I would think that duress, thoughtseize, the retrace B discard, or even stupor to be better.

Hmm true. What's a possible win condition with bolas and the factories that can be achieved in the mid game instead of later on? My only problem I've faced is that the deck really needs to get late game to win.

Why run UBr over UWr?
Elspeth and Swords to Plowshares are the most efficient options at what they do. I really don't think Liliana or Nicol Bolas stack up well against Elspeth or even Ajani Vengeant for that matter.
Also one of the central/focal points of UWr Ultimate Walker was to circumvent the prevalence of Spell Snare, by running very few 2cc cards, with the addition Hymn and Terminate this advantage is pretty much lost.
I don't want to say that this build is strictly worse, but I'm curious as to what the reasoning is for UBr.

Oh, no good reason, I just want to run UBR because I enjoy the colors, I could find no good legacy UBR decks besides TES variants and bitterblossom control.
