Now that the oracle texts of Enchantress's Presence and Argothian Enchantress are the same:

Oracle text: Whenever you cast an enchantment spell, draw a card.

With one of the enchantress cards in play do you draw a card when your enchantment is countered?

Argothian Enchantress
Card text: Argothian Enchantress cannot be the target of spells or abilities.
Whenever you successfully cast an enchantment spell, draw a card.

Enchantress's Presence
Card text: Whenever you play an enchantment spell, draw
a card.

The card text imply they work differently while the oracle text shows they work the same.

Thank you

In both cases, the "draw a card" triggers when the spell is cast, it doesn't have to resolve.

601. Casting Spells

(...)

601.2h. Once the steps described in 601.2a-g are completed, the spell becomes cast. Any abilities that trigger on a spell being cast or put onto the stack trigger at this time. If the spell's controller had priority before casting it, he or she gets priority.

With both. "Cast" is just the new term for "play", it doesn't matter whether the Enchantment really resolves or not, both of them trigger as soon as you... well, play a Enchantment.

NEVER care about the actual printed text on a card.
Only look at the oracle text.

Neither of the two cards changed their power level because of the oracle text.
"successfully cast" did not mean "resolves" but meant "mana paid, targets chosen etc. and successfully put onto the stack" and did not care about countering anyway.

Dorsh implied this, but you always drew cards even if the spell got countered.

Argothian only got better in 1999, with the release of the 6th edition rules and the elimination of "successfully cast".
